Dear Subscribers,

We know that many of you share our excitement about the future of The Daily Muse. Together, we have the opportunity to develop a thriving, interactive community of people from everywhere on earth, sharing and discussing the thoughts of history's greatest thinkers and writers.

However, for The Daily Muse to realise this objective, we need your help in overcoming some of the obstacles we have encountered. Here are four ways for you to help us grow.

The Daily Muse is and always will be completely free, and it is our objective to keep it (and this website) free of annoying and obtrusive advertisements. If we're to succeed, we need your financial assistance to help us defray our running costs. In addition, for us to expand our subscriber base, we need financial contributions to enable us to advertise the Muse in online and print publications. If you've enjoyed The Daily Muse and you'd like to see it remain free and ad-free, and help it grow, please consider making a small financial contribution.

›   All contributions--even as little as $5--are greatly appreciated.

›   Contributors of $20 or more will be recognised (if they choose) on this page.

›   Contributors of $50 or more will receive a complimentary copy of our Classics Digital Library software, an interactive CD-ROM which contains more than one thousand key texts of Western literature.

›   Contributors of $100 or more will be invited to join our Panel of Muses, the small group of advisors which oversees the newsletter.

To make a donation by credit card (through PayPal), click the button. To donate by cheque, money order, or wire transfer, contact us and we will advise the details.

We aim to have 100,000 subscribers by 2005. If we're to succeed, we need you to help us spread the word.

›   Tell your friends about us.

›   If you run a website, link to us.

›   If you're an educator, tell your students about us. We've prepared some posters which you can put up at your school, college, or workplace--if you'd like a copy, please contact us.

If you're interested in a particular theme, become a Guest Muse for a fortnight! You'll be responsible for choosing quotes, writing issues, and overseeing discussion. It's an excellent way to engage with a topic about which you are passionate. For more information, see our Guide for Guest Muses.

It's important for us to know what you think about The Daily Muse. Pease take our survey.
